From November 2008 Karen has been offering transpersonal counseling services in both Muskoka and Barrie health centres. This style of counseling focuses on the present, bypasses the conscious mind, and can resolve situations via bodily expression, sound, guided imagery and dialogue. You are more than simply a bundle of cells and a brain, you are part of the' energy that binds all' and we work with that aspect of you; Transpersonal literally means, 'beyond the personal' and that is how we work together. Qualifications I have studied at the Transpersonal Therapy Centre since 2006, and anticipate graduating in June 2009 as a fully qualififed Transpersonal Psychotherapist. My skills have developed sufficiently to allow proficient counseling on a spiritual/transpersonal basis for those who feel moved to work with me.
